Tehran (IP) - Iranian short film 'voice' won the award for best director in the 25th edition of Faludi Film Festival in Hungary and made way to the 9th Gbeck Future Film Festival, known as GbeckFF in Canada.

Iran PressEurope: Faludi Film Festival aims at social issues as the theme of the festival then it starts a social discourse, shedding light on the social theme. The festival looks for elaborate works that are suitable for creating a forum.

Faludi Jury gives prizes (I., II., III.) in three categories: short feature film, experimental film, and documentary and it has special prizes as well. 

The 25th edition of the Faludi Film Festival, which was held from November 17 to 20, 2022, and now the winners of its various sections have been announced.

'Voice' made its way to the 9th Gbeck Future Film Festival in Canada to discover and support young filmmakers. Canadian festival will be held from September 8 to 10 this year in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

'Voice' had already made its way to the 18th edition of the Utopia Film Festival held annually in Greenbelt, Maryland, located near Washington, U.S, the 7th edition of the Italian Sandscreen Festival in held between 6 – 10 June 2023, the 10th edition of the AS FILM FESTIVAL (AsFF) in Italy, and the 6th edition of the Link International Film Festival, known as Link IFF in England.

Its storyline narrates the life of a cinematographer who spends day and night in a car delivering passengers and listening to the sounds he has recorded of his life.

The 'Voice' is written and directed by Ali Abdollahi, and produced by Hamed Gharib and its cast are Ebrahim Azizi, Hana Kamkar, and Khalil Zoroufchian are the film's cast.
