Tehran (IP) - Iran's representative at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) says that the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) fulfills its legal commitments in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).

Iran PressIran news: Iranian Red Crescent Society could be a role model for other counties, Atta Durrani added at the joint press conference of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day held in Tehran.

Atta Durrani, Iran's Representative at IFRC, said that ICRC and IFRC were here to lessen the impact of sanctions that hindered the aid coming to Iran.

As the next keynote speaker, Daniel Munoz-Rojas, Deputy of the International Committee of the Red Cross Delegation in Tehran, said that the International Committee of the Red Cross was concerned about the sanction against some countries, especially Iran because they had prevented them from getting vaccinated.

"To contain the coronavirus crisis, there are no boundaries, so if anyone in the world with any religion and ethnicities will not be in the vaccination coverage, the crisis would not come to an end," Deputy of the International Committee of the Red Cross Delegation in Tehran said.
