Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani and Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had phone conversations two days ago about bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region.
According to Iran Press, Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, who arrived in Tehran, was welcomed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, at noon.
The meeting between Iran's Foreign Minister and his Qatari counterpart is underway.
