Iran Press/Iran news: President Rouhani in his message thanked god that in the holy month of Ramadan no damage caused for people due to the special condition of the coronavirus in the country.
The message read, “Congratulations to all Muslims, especially the noble Iranian people, on the feast of success in achieving piety and patience.”
Eid al-Fitr is the first day of the tenth month of the Islamic calendar when Muslims celebrate the arrival of Shawwal and the end of the holy fasting month of Ramadan.
The advent of Ramadan may vary from country to country depending on the situation of the moon. Since the new moon is not in the same state at the same time globally, the beginning and ending dates of Ramadan depend on what lunar sightings receive in each location.
As a result, Ramadan dates vary in different countries, but usually only by one day.
