"Parallel World" (Jahan Gheyre Movaazi), written and directed by Mohammad Yaraghi, has won the main award at the 33rd edition of the Euroshorts Festival in Poland. This marks the second international award for "Parallel World" and the seventh international accolade for Yaraghi.

Iran Press/Europe: Euroshorts, one of the most prestigious and long-standing short film festivals in Eastern Europe, has been running since 1992. It aims to introduce emerging talents in cinema and showcase innovative works from around the world.

The festival annually hosts short films, animations, and experimental works from various countries, awarding winners with certificates, cash prizes, and official recognition.

“Parallel World” has already been screened in cities such as London, Budapest, Warsaw, and Gdansk, and previously featured at the 29th Portobello Festival in the UK and the 20th BuSho Festival in Hungary.

The film’s plot highlights that the events unfolding in the present day do not belong to a parallel or unreal world; rather, all of us play a role in their occurrence or influence their outcome.

This recognition further solidifies Mohammad Yaraghi’s place in the international film scene, bringing attention to his unique storytelling style and his ability to address relevant global issues through cinema.
