Iranian Minister of Intelligence met with President of Iraq

Baghdad (IP) - Iraqi President conducted a meeting with Iranian Intelligence Minister Mahmoud Alavi in ​​Baghdad, in which the two sides discussed bilateral relations.

Iran PressMiddle East: Emphasizing the importance of strong relations between the two countries, Mahmoud Alavi said: "Iran's support for security and stability in Iraq, strengthening cooperation, coordination in the fight against terrorism and extremism, and the establishment of peace in the region."

Barham Saleh, for his part, said that a strong, secure, stable Iraq with sovereignty and balanced relations with its Arab and Muslim neighbors would strengthen regional peace and security.

He praised Iran for supporting Iraq, especially in the fight against terrorism and countering ISIS terrorists.
