Shiraz (IP) - Mahtab Nabavi, is an Iranian disabled girl who wins 1st place at World Para-Taekwondo C’ships.

Iran Press/Iran news: In addition to her professional activity in taekwondo, Ms. Nabavi is a student of cell biology in Shiraz university, and at the same time, she is a Top-Notch writer and has written the books "In the eyes of the Moonlight" and "Until Infinity." 

The Iranian athlete is disabled in both hands.

Ms. Nabavi is a professional taekwondo practitioner and has been practicing taekwondo since she was 9 years old. With the support of her family, the sports community, and officials, she has been successful in taekwondo and the World Para-Taekwondo Championships.

When the World taekwondo announced the ranking of Para-Taekwondo practitioners in 2020, Mahtab, the first Para-Taekwondo Iranian girl with 110 points, came first at -58 kg, K41 division.

In 2019, she won the gold medal in-58 kg at World Para-Taekwondo Championships in Turkey, and after that, she won the gold and silver medals in Kish Island, southern Iran.
