Iran Press/ Iran News: Deputy foreign minister for political affairs said the wise choice of venue of Astana Peace Talks in Tehran, a few days after the unsuccessful regional tour of US President Joe Biden was a sign of Iran’s alert and superior regional dialogue diplomacy.
Ali Bagheri Kani said that among the characteristics of the foreign diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran there is grasping the appropriate opportunities, adding that Iran has no limits for expansion of relations with its neighboring countries today.
“We must use all our potential and practical capacities to achieve maximum interactions with our neighbors and set the foundations for long-term economic ties with all our neighboring countries,” added Bagheri Kani.
The deputy foreign minister for political affairs said that great challenges faced by the US unilateralist political and economic policies have now become clear and America is also faced with severe challenges for preserving its global hegemony, while Iran has joined both the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRIX Organization, both of which increase our strategic power and our geo-strategic status while contributing to multilateralism meaningfully.
