Iran Press/ Asia: The Vietnam Danang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF), held from May 9 to 13, 2023, is organized by the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA) World War III experienced its 36th international participation in DANAFF and its 18th international award.
Mohsen Tanabandeh, the Iranian best actor award winner in DANNAF, received his fifth international award.
After its successful participation in Venice International Film Festival 2022 and winning two awards in the Horizons section for best film and actor, World War III was also successful in the 35th Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) 2022, The 8th annual Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) in Los Angeles 2022, and the Stockholm Film Festival 2022 where it won the international film critics award, in Sweden.
World War III was enlisted in the 34th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival 2023 and recently won best actor, film, and director awards from the Belgrade International Film Festival in Serbia.
World War III won the special prize of the jury of the main competition and the recognition of the young jury from the 37th Freiburg Film Festival in Switzerland (FIFF), also known as Festival International de Films de Fribourg. And recently it won the best film award of the Istanbul Film Festival and the best film and actor award at the 19th Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre, Brazil.
World War III is Human Seyyedi's sixth feature film.
