Iran Press/ Middle East: During Monday meeting between Iranian Energy Minister and Chairman of the Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, and Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar in Doha, Ardakanian delivered the message of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hassan Rouhani to the Emir of Qatar.
During the meeting, which was held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the two sides stressed the need to strengthen relations between the two countries, adding that based on decisions and agreements made during the Emir of Qatar's last year visit to Tehran and during the meeting with Iranian President, basic steps should be taken to implement these decisions.
The Energy Minister of Iran and the Emir of Qatar noted that regional cooperation can play an essential role for sustainable development and the welfare and security of the people of the two countries and that Iran and Qatar, as two friendly and neighboring countries, need to cooperate in the region and be a model for other countries.
During the meeting, the Emir of Qatar instructed Ali Al-Kulwari, the Minister of Industry and Trade of Qatar and Chairman of the Joint Commission of Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission to finalize the expansion documents of economic cooperation between the two countries and make the necessary executive decisions.
Iranian Energy Minister arrived in Doha to deliver the message of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Emir of Qatar.
Reza Ardakanian met with Qatari Minister of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Economic Cooperation Commission Ali Al-Kuwari and other senior economic and political officials of this country.
The development of economic relations and planning to hold the seventh joint commission of Iran and Qatar as soon as possible is one topic of discussion between the Energy Minister of Iran and the Qatari authorities.
A joint commission on Iran-Qatar cooperation is scheduled to be held by the end of this year.
