Iran Press/ Asia: The head of the Iranian delegation Mehdi Safari congratulated Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on his appointment as the Speaker of Pakistan's National Assembly.
Ayaz Sadiq said that parliamentary contacts can play an important role in making bilateral relations more stable, and the role of parliamentary friendship groups in promoting economic cooperation, between Iran and Pakistan.
He said that Iran and Pakistan, due to their geographical location, have a unique position for the promotion of regional and global trade.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy, for his part, said that Iran values friendly relations with Pakistan and seeks to promote cooperation in trade and other economic sectors between the two countries. 219
