Iran Press/ Iran news: On the sidelines of the Great Prophet 17 drills on Friday, Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh reported the implementation of joint missile and drone operations on the last day of the exercise, saying we witnessed that all launches were precise and all missiles and drones hit the specified targets precisely.
General Hajizadeh highlighted the comprehensive 360-degree attack and maneuverability of ballistic missiles and said that directing ballistic missiles and making them maneuverable was a feature developed by the Iranian specialists, which made the work for the enemy very difficult.
By mastering the technology, enemies can no longer predict from which side they will be attacked even if they spend hundreds of billions of dollars, he explained.
General Hajizadeh also pointed to the collective launching of combat drones from one platform as another feature of the exercise: "This way a large number of assault drones go toward the target and at the same time the amount of our firing missiles shores up, and as a result, all defense systems of the enemy, even if they can intercept, will be saturated."
Great Prophet 17 drills (PBUH) kicked off on Monday morning, December 20, in the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, the coasts of Hormozgan, Bushehr, and Khuzestan provinces and was wrapped up on Friday, December 24.
