Thailand (IP)- Iranian rowing team won two gold medals in the Paracano Asian Championship competitions on the first day of the event.

Iran PressAsia: Rowing Asian Championship competitions began on Thursday, today, in Pattaya, Thailand. 

Competing with his Thai, Uzbek, Tajik, Indian, Indonesian, Kazak, and Chinese rivals in the men's 1,000m individual canoe, Mohammad-Nabi Rezaei won the gold medal.

In the men's 1,000m individual kayak, Ali Aghamirzaei passed his rival from Uzbekistan, Chinese Taipei, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Thailand, and Hong Kong, and snatched the gold medal.

Uzbekistan and Chinese Taipei athletes stood the second and third places, respectively. 

The Iranian athletes will compete with their rivals in four other categories.
