Iran Press/ Africa: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian traveled to the African continent for the first time last Monday.
Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a meeting with Tanzanian counterpart Liberata Mulamula.
He emphasized implementing the agreements made in the first joint commission of comprehensive cooperation and meetings with the Tanzanian authorities, especially the agreements with the President of Tanzania.
One of the prerequisites for developing relations is to resolve the issue of visas for those interested in Iranian economic activities in Tanzania.

He elaborated on the latest developments in negotiations on lifting sanctions, saying if the US is realistic, it will be possible to implement the previous agreements with new conditions.
Earlier, stressing that ties with Africa were a priority of the Iranian government, Hossein Amir-Abdollahain told Zanzibar's president Hussein Ali Mwinyi that commercial, academic, industrial, and cooperation between cities of the two countries were among the areas prone to cooperation.
