Tehran (IP) - In a phone call, the foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the UAE emphasized the importance of expanding bilateral cooperation, including in the private sector.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press; Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan exchanged views on bilateral, regional, and international issues in a telephone conversation on Saturday.

While congratulating his Emirati counterpart on the arrival of Eid al-Fitr, Iran's foreign minister described the existing relations as progressing and added: "Active meetings and consultations are underway between the officials of the two countries."

Amir-Abdollahian said: "There is no limit to the all-round development of relations."

In this telephone conversation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE also stressed the various opportunities for joint cooperation, referring to the common interests of the two countries in the development of relations between them in various fields.

Regarding the new conditions in the region, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan said: "In recent weeks, we have witnessed the strengthening of cooperation in the region, including the good relations between Tehran and Riyadh and the new conditions in Syria."

In this conversation, the parties emphasized the importance of developing cooperation as much as possible, including in the private sector.
