Iran Press/ Asia: At the same time with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the organizations in charge of small and medium industries in Iran and Turkey, which was aimed at improving economic and trade cooperation and competitiveness of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the world markets, the Action Plan of the MoU was discussed, exchanged and agreed at the second meeting of its Joint Executive Committee.
According to the agreed action plan, cooperation in the field of technology exchange, establishment of a permanent technology exchange center between Iran and Turkey, transferring experiences in the field of business, cooperation between the mutual investment guarantee fund, holding investment- attracting meetings, holding face-to-face meetings between Iran and Turkey and holding consultant training courses were among items decided to be developed and implemented.
Iran's exports to Turkey reached 5 billion and 46 million dollars last year, and 4 billion and 995 million dollars were imported.
