Iran Press/Iran news: Referring to the recent terrorist attack in Sistan and Baluchestan Province, Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Bagheri said on Monday that people's anger will make those behind the attack disappointed.
Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces made the remarks at a convention held in Qom Province on Monday, Iran Press reported.
"A terrorist group is being trained and equipped with Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates' money in Pakistan which planned and committed terror attacks in Iran," Major General Mohammad Bagheri noted.
"Iranian people's freedom and independence is unique in the world, so defending these achievements have several dimensions," Chief of General Staff of Iranian Armed Forces said.
"Despite the enemies' psychological operation against Iran, people have celebrated the 40th anniversary of Islamic Revolution by using their revolutionary understanding," Major General Mohammad Bagheri concluded.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps personnel were traveling between the cities of Zahedan and Khash, in Sistan-Balouchestan Province on February 13, when their bus was hit by a suicide car bomb attack.
The attack killed 27 IRGC members and wounded 13 others with the so-called Jaish ul-Adl terrorist group claiming responsibility for the attack. 101/201/213
