Iran PressAsia: According to Iran Press, in the continuation of the first Asian Games in Hangzhou, the Iranian men's national table tennis team faced the powerful Japanese team in the quarter-finals and won 3-0 in the end.

In the first game, Nima Alamiyan faced Harimoto, the fourth player in the world and the runner-up of the 2020 Olympic Games, and won the game by 3:2.

In the second match, Noushad Alamiyan played against Shunsuke Togami, the 41st player in the world, and was able to win 3-2 and give Iran a 2-0 lead.

The third representative of Iran was Amirhossein Hedaei with rank 130, who faced Yoshimura with rank 79 in the world, and won 3:2.

With this win, Iran reached the semi-finals and confirmed its bronze medal. Our country's team will meet South Korea in the semi-final to reach the final.

Iran's national table tennis's successful winning achievement dates back to 65 years ago when it was able to win a team bronze medal in the Tokyo Asian Games in 1958.
