Iran Press/ Iran news: In a meeting with Syrian Culture Minister, Lubanah Mshaweh, the Head of Islamic Culture and Relation Organization Mehdi Imanipour emphasized that Iranians respect the Syrian government and nation, and as the Islamic Leader stresses, Syria is the pillar of the resistance, and the Zionists intend to stop Syrian resistance.
He also said: The Islamic awakening movement in the region and the world caused global arrogance to try to counter it at any cost.
Stating that the way to develop cultural relations between the two countries is through language education, Mohammad-Mehdi Imanipour clarified that Persian language teaching has made good progress in Syria.

Imanipour added: Cultural diplomacy is the goal of political and economic diplomacy, and despite media’s efforts to disrupt the relations between two countries, we will do our best to develop ties at a good level.
Imanipour said: Due to having good education capacities, many students from neighboring countries study in Iran, and Syria can be one of them.
The Minister of Culture of Syria, in turn, said Iran and Syria have a lot in common in the historical, cultural, commercial, and resistance sectors.
Lubanah Mshaweh emphasized that Syria would not forget how Iran has stood by Syria during ten years of occupation adding: “We have suffered from terrorism, and we have resisted ISIS and we continue to do so.
she said: " Now more than ever, we must take steps to strengthen cultural interactions.”
Regarding the teaching of the Persian language in Syria, she said: “Many Syrians speak Persian language, so we invited Iranian professors of Persian language and literature to Syria to teach the Persian language.”
She stated: The level of cultural relations should be expanded like political relations between the two countries, and the agreements signed by the two countries in the past should be reviewed and implemented.
