Iran Press/ Iran News: Following the seizure of a cargo ship carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Greek waters with the cooperation of the United States, the Swiss charge d'affaires was summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the protector of US interests.
The Greek government on Wednesday seized a ship carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran off the coast of the country and confiscated its cargo with a court order and in coordination with the US government.
Following the seizure of the cargo ship carrying the flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Greek waters, the charge d'affaires of the Greek Embassy in Tehran was summoned to Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and got informed about the strong protest of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Swiss charge d'affaires also announced that he would inform US officials on the issue as soon as possible.
