Iran Press/ Iran News: According to the Economic and Finance News Network (Shada), in the joint meeting, Ehsan Khandozi, the Minister of Economy of Iran called for a joint free trade zone (FTZ) between Iran and Turkey to be established.
The Minister of Industry of Turkey welcomed the proposal, and it was decided that due to the signing of the memorandum of understanding of the joint investment committee between Iran and Turkey, more cooperation will be formed in this field from now on, and mutual investment between the two countries will be carried out.
The 7th meeting of the Iran-Turkey Supreme Cooperation Council was held in Tehran on Tuesday with the presence of Presidents of Iran and Turkey, Ebrahim Raisi and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and other high-ranking officials of the two countries.
Iranian and Turkish officials also inked eight documents and MoUs on various political, economic, sports, and cultural areas in the presence of the two countries' presidents.
