Iran's Atomic Energy Organization spokesman said that IAEA Director General's visit to Iran needed a series of preparations, and with the presence of a delegation, we had intensive negotiations last week headed by the IAEA head of the Department of Safeguards.

Iran PressIran News: Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization stated: "After constructive negotiations with the delegation of the IAEA, it was agreed on Rafael Grossi's visit to Iran. In this regard, the travel plan will be set with Massimo Apparo head of the Department of Safeguards, and Grossi's visit will take place in the coming days."

The spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization stated: "In the meetings with the agency delegation, we discussed matters such as the 84% particles issue on which the media had made pointless untrue coverage, and in fact, we resolved this issue with the agency in some way."

"The ultimate product is important, which is 60%. What matters to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is the substances that are collected in the end, rather than the particles that are seen," Kamalvandi explained more.

Kamalvandi further explained: "In the past, when we did 5% enrichment, a particle of 17% or higher was seen, and this is not a strange issue. When enriching 60%, the presence of particles above 60%, for example 84%, is normal, and in fact, the final product is measured and Iran follows procedures within the declared framework."

The Iranian official said: "It seems the situation is suitable for this trip and we hope that Grossi' trip paves the way for our cooperation with the Agency in the framework of professional and impartiality without the interference of Western countries. At the same time, there are always concerns for us regarding these political interferences, and unfortunately, Western countries try to use all international tools as political ones."   219
