Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday held a meeting with the Hungarian newly appointed ambassador to Tehran who submitted his credentials, according to the Iran Press.
Iran's FM also met with Oman's ambassador in Tehran, Saud bin Ahmad Khalid al-Barwani whose mission in Iran has come to an end. As his tenure as Oman's ambassador to Iran has finished, the ambassador visited Zarif to say farewell.
Thanks to its good political relations between the two countries, according to data, Iran’s Exports to Oman Quintupled and the volume of Iran's annual exports to Oman has skyrocketed from $146 to $728 million in the past year which indicates a fivefold jump.
Officials say economic interactions between Iran-Oman joint chambers are expected to increase, citing that Iran’s exports to Oman stood at $146 million in the Iranian year of 1396 (March 21, 2017-March 20, 2018) but the figure increased up to $728 million in the Iranian year of 1397 (March 21, 2018-March 20, 2019). 212/ 104
