Tehran (IP) - Improper water and electricity consumption can have a negative impact on the development of the country, Iran's Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian noted.

Iran PressIran News: On the sideline of the unveiling ceremony of two books about Iran's electricity industry held at the Energy Ministry, Iran's Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian said that water and electricity consumption must be reviewed and evaluated as long as many do not know how to consume them properly.

"Iran requires energy reforms in all fields," Ardakanian pointed.

"In addition to production, the country needs new programs and plans to guide people towards proper energy consumption," stated by the energy minister.

In the end, the Minister of Energy said that in order to reduce the pressure of life on the deprived people of the society, we need reforms in the economy of the country's energy sector.
