IP- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Muscat a while ago.

Iran PressMiddle East: The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, at the invitation of his Omani counterpart, and in line with the regional consultations headed a delegation to Muscat, the capital of Oman, to meet the officials of this country.

Iran's top diplomat will discuss bilateral international and regional issues with Omani officials.

In addition to meeting Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Amir-Abdollahian will also discuss and consult with other Omani officials about the most important regional events, bilateral relations, and international relations.

The Kingdom of Oman, as one of the most important economic and political partners of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the region, always had strategic relations with Tehran and this strategic relation has turned the two countries into reliable friends.

In order to strengthen this strategic partnership, Iran's President, Ebrahim Raisi, visited Oman last year at the head of a high-ranking delegation.

Promotions of bilateral relations in the fields of trade, transportation, energy, and tourism were among the most important goals.

Iran's Foreign Minister also visited Muscat last December and met and talked with Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, the king of Oman, and Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oman.
