Iran Press/ Iran news: Rouhollah Zam, the operator behind the Amad News website and Telegram channel he launched in 2015, was arrested by the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in October 2019.
He confessed in the second session of his trial that he had the highest security protection after French President Emmanuel Macron.
In his 36th press conference on Tuesday, the spokesman of the Judiciary Gholamhossein Esmaili referred also to the assassination of the Iranian prominent nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh and said both the Judiciary Organization of the Armed Forces and Tehran's Court are in charge of addressing the case.
"International judicial authorities are prosecuting the perpetrators of the crime," Esmaili added.
