Iran Press/ Europe: Bahram Qasemi wrote on his personal Twitter page on Monday evening that the authoritarian and extravagant US regime, which has never been trusted in the goodness of understanding and the implementation of agreements, from the very beginning, obstructed the fulfillment of the duties and obligations accepted in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, and finally withdrew from this agreement.
Qasemi added that after the withdrawal of JCPOA, the United States encouraged its allies and other members to withdraw from the agreement.
The Iranian ambassador to France noted that European countries, especially other JCPOA partners, encouraged Iran to continue participating in the nuclear deal after the US withdrew from the agreement."
He went on to clarify the fact that the Europeans promised to create a financial mechanism for trading with Iran. They also criticized elusive America for its global and international commitments.
Qasemi stressed that Iran is trying its best to be a country committed to international law and internationally recognized standards, but patience and tolerance also have its limits, noting that if Iran's partners cannot fulfill their obligations, Iran will not be able to remain as the mere member state of abiding JCPOA.
The Iranian ambassador to France also called on all JCPOA member states, as well as other countries in the world and the international community to be vigilant against the US dangerous actions, referring to the oppressive US sanctions against the Iranian people.
On May 8, 2018, US President Donald Trump unilaterally withdrew his country from the international agreement and announced the return of nuclear sanctions, in violation of Washington's commitments under the UN Security Council. 207/216
