Iran Press/ Asia: Following the sixth week of the 2024 AFC Champions League Elite, the Iranian football players could overcome their Iraqi opponent team as they scored two goals, one in minute 89 of the game in the second half by Uronov.
The other was scored also within the last minutes of the match, 90+12 minutes, thanks to a penalty kick taken in favor of Persepolis.
The Iraqi team scored its single goal in minute 18 exploiting the mistake that happened in the Persepolis defense line, then Mohannad Ali scored the goal.
Iran's other representative in the league, Esteghlal of Tehran, will face Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia on Monday evening.
