Tehran (IP) - Secretary-General of the National Paralympic Committee of Iran said that Iran's Paralympic team must follow health protocols in training camps despite being vaccinated.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Tabe’ said in an interview with Iran Press News Agency all Paralympic athletes and the staff were vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Tabe’ said: “Athletes' health has always been a priority for the National Paralympic Committee, and the convoy to the Tokyo Paralympics was vaccinated in two phases in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and the Ministry of Health.”

The Paralympic convoy was vaccinated in two phases in March and April.

Japanese have said the athletes have to get the vaccine jab and test at the Tokyo Games Village.

The Tokyo Paralympic Games to be held from August 24 to September 5, 2021, with a one-year delay due to the coronavirus outbreak.
