Tehran (IP): The Head of Iran's Department of Environment Issa Kalantari said in an exclusive interview with Iran press that one of Iran's successful achievements is that the country has had the least amount of particle pollution in the past twenty years.

Iran Press/ Iran News: Referring to the water right of Iran's wetlands, Iran's top official said that the government has passed the law so that the water right could be allocated for the wetlands.

Kalantari said that so far there have been 39 cases on the right water which has been ratified and at the same time expressed hope that most of the water right of more than the other 8 wetlands of Iran could be ratified.

The main problem for the Iranian citizens, especially in the north of the country, is the issue of waste disposal, for which more than 3 trillion Tomans had been allocated this year.

Iran's top officials went on to say that the efforts have been made in order to increase the quality of the factories; fortunately, the factories that are enjoying bilateral cooperation with Iran's Department of the environment have had the least pollution in the last thirty years.

Kalantari also said that After 50 years, Iran had been able to free the copper mine from sulfur pollutants this year, which caused a lot of problems for the people.

He also added that Iran' s cement industries are rapidly equipped to reduce pollution. "we had promised to decrease the production of Carbon by 4 percent, and we fulfill our commitments in French COP21(Paris Climate Conference) by the next two years, "he concluded.

"As fulfilling Iran's obligations toward French COP21(Paris Climate Conference) which was approved in 2015-2016, we pledged to cut carbon emissions by four percent," concluded Kalantari.
