Iran Press/ Iran news: According to Iran Press, Ali Asghar Mounesan wrote on Saturday, on the occasion of World Handicrafts Day and Week, that if Iranian handicrafts are used around the world as a manifestation of originality and creativity, it is because of the continuing resuscitating art left in the heart of history.
The Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Iran stated that as a result of continuous activities in the field of recognizing the irreplaceable capacity of handicrafts, today Iran is ranked first among the countries in the world in the field of global registration of cities and villages of handicrafts.
Mounesan stressed that 11 cities and 3 villages of Iranian handicrafts have been registered globally in the past eight years, which will raise global awareness of Iranian art and increase the demand in the global market for Iranian handicraft products and their exports.
Iran's Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts announced that the increase in handicraft exports has been achieved by relying on indicators such as raising global awareness and introducing handicraft products, measures to support handicraft artists, and its commercialization.
