Iran's Foreign Minister met UN Secretary-General on Thursday.

Iran press/America: Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York on Thursday.

The two sides discussed about the latest developments including the US imposing limit on Iranian dipolmats in UN, the tensions in the region, the Iranian tanker seized by the British Navy, reduction of Iran's nuclear commitment the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) together with the latest developments in Syria, Yemen and Afghanistan, reported Iran Press.

Earlier in an interview with CNN, Zarif said that US serious limitation for Iranian diplomats in the United Nations is 'inhumane.'

The United States has tightly restricted the travel of more than a dozen Iranian diplomats and their families living in New York, according to a US diplomatic note to sent to the Iran Mission to the United Nations. 

Zarif, who has arrived in New York on Sunday has already been interviewing the BBC, NBC, as well.

Zarif also made a speech to the United Nations Economic and Social Council on Wednesday. 

Mohammad Javad Zarif will leave New York to Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, to attend a meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Zarif will go to Havana at the final stage of the trip to meet the Cuban officials and discuss issues of mutual interest.203
