Iran Press/ Iran news: "On January 6, the world witnessed a glimpse of what the United States has been trying to export to other countries for decades," Saeed Khatibzadeh wrote on Twitter on Thursday night.
The spokesman for Iran's foreign ministry said that Trump had not been held accountable for his illegal behavior around the world, adding that chaos in the United States was predictable.
Khatibzadeh wrote on Twitter at the end: "What goes around, comes around. US has a lot to learn."
On January 6, an armed mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building in an attempt to stop the certification of Biden’s election victory. Trump was impeached by the Democratic-led House on a charge he incited the riot but was acquitted by the Republican-led Senate.
