Iran Press/ Iran news: Iran's first super special pediatric nuclear medicine center was inaugurated on Saturday with the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Ali-Akbar Salehi, the officials of the Children medical center, and the managers of AEOI in attendance.
Referring to the children who are under hard conditions in terms of suffering from diseases, Ali-Akbar Salehi said: "Today through the inauguration of pediatric nuclear medicine center in an effort to reach out to the children who are in the hard conditions, we are witnessing that the big and significant step is being taken."
"The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran has done everything possible in the unclear medicine field," added Salehi.
According to what Salehi has explained, there have been various missions defined for AEOI, including the Radiopharmaceuticals production.
It also includes the construction of a Tetra-GMP radiopharmaceutical project, as well as the construction of an ion therapy hospital for cancer treatment, which is the seventh specialized hospital in the world.
