Tehran (IP) - Iranian energy minister inaugurated seven utility macro projects worth 157 billion Tomans in Zanjan, Isfahan, Bushehr, Kerman, and South Khorasan provinces.

Iran Press/Iran news: In Zanjan Province, two projects, "Establishment of collection facilities and wastewater treatment plant in Zarrin Abad city with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters per day" and "Water supply to 31 villages with a population of 22,854 people" worth 50.6 billion Tomans were put into operation aiming at preventing groundwater and surface water pollution and increase the level of public health.

Also, two projects, "Qamsar Wastewater Treatment Plant Package and Sewage Transmission Line" and "Joshaghan Concrete Storage Tank" with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters with affiliated facilities with an investment of 12.4 billion Tomans in Kashan city of Isfahan Province, were put into operation aiming at preventing groundwater pollution.

Moreover, rural water supply projects in three provinces, including water supply to 24 villages with a population of 18,346 people in Bushehr Province, water supply to 24 villages with a population of 4,946 people in Kerman Province, and water supply to 12 villages in South Khorasan With a population of 9,632 were inaugurated.
