Iran Press/Iran news: Kianoush Jahanpour on Friday, June 5 about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus said, "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 5 in the country, 2,886 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 167,156."
527 of new patients were hospitalized and 2,359 were outpatients.
Fortunately, 129,741 patients have recovered and have been discharged so far, Jahanpour added.
The Spokesman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 63 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 8,134 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
He stated, "2,573 patients are in a critical condition."
"So far, around 1,040,289 million COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokesman said.
