Iran Press/ Iran news: During a ceremony, NPC CEO Morteza Shahmirzaei said, “I proudly announce that the first cryogenic loading arm, which was before manufactured by a few Western countries, has been made, installed, and put into operation by Iranian engineers and experts.”
Iran’s petrochemical industry is about to stand at the summit and become self-sufficient in acquiring technical know-how and making necessary equipment and products, added the deputy oil minister, continuing it is a matter of pride that the first ammonia cargo was loaded at Dock No. 17.
Given NPC’s strategy on credit supply of petrochemical products aimed at supporting downstream industries and manufacturers, domestic supply will rise by around 1.3 million tons, he pointed out.
More than 100 petrochemical projects are underway, said Shahmirzaei, adding they will come on stream one after another.
The NPC chief observed the operations of installing homegrown heat exchangers and process equipment at the Dena and Jam cold box plants during his one-day visit to Assaluyeh.
