Iran Press/ Iran News: On Monday, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari attended the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Parliament and met with members of the commission.
The need to review and upgrade the army budget in the credit lines of the next Iranian year budget (starting on March 21) and the government's obligation to prioritize the defense budget of the armed forces were among the main topics of the meeting.
A comparative study of the ranks allocated to the army in this year's and 1400 budget was also discussed during a meeting between Haj Babaei, the head of the parliament's program and budget commission, and Rear Admiral Sayyari.
During these meetings, Rear Admiral Sayyari also explained the most important activities of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the operational, intelligence, and strategic fields and stressed the full readiness of the four Army forces to decisively foil any possible threat against Islamic Iran.
In this meeting, Brigadier General Massoud Moghaddas, Deputy Chief of the Army for Planning and Budget also accompanied Admiral Sayyari.
