Iran Press/ Iran news: Ahmad Motamedi, President of the Amirkabir University of Technology in Iran, on the sidelines of the visit of Ibrahim bin Ahmad Al-Moeini, Ambassador of Oman to Tehran, said that the Amirkabir University of Technology seeks to expand cooperation with universities in the region and now it has close ties with universities of Iraq, Syria and neighboring countries in northern Iran.
Motamedi stated that the expansion of scientific relations with Oman is one of the priorities of this university, expressing hope that the scientific, educational, and technological relations of Amirkabir University of Technology with Oman universities would increase.
Oman's ambassador to Iran, also said that Iran is a treasure of capabilities, adding that Oman seeks to increase relations with Iran in various fields.
Stating that the visit to the Amirkabir University of Technology will be a good ground for expanding scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries, the ambassador of Oman underscored the expansion of scientific cooperation between the two countries.
The Amirkabir University of Technology is one of the oldest higher education technical and engineering institutes in Iran. With more than 35000 graduates since 1977, AUT has been offering continuous brilliance and contributed to the achievement of many educational and research goals. Today AUT is considered one of the top universities in the region and one of the top 400 around the globe. AUT includes more than 16 departments, 16 centers of excellence, and 32 research centers and institutes.
