Mojtaba Amani, Iran's ambassador to Beirut, answered a reporter's question about the impact of the assassination of Haniyeh on Iran-US negotiations during a press conference.

Iran Press/West Asia:  According to the Iran Press news agency, Amani said in a press conference: "There is no such thing as Iranian-American talks, there are messages exchanges that the Americans send us from time to time, and they also receive their answers directly."

The ambassador clarified: "Most of the messages in the last 10 months were related to not allowing the war to escalate."

These statements come as the assassination of Haniyeh, one of the prominent leaders of the Palestinian resistance, has sparked a wave of reactions globally.

Analysts believe this incident could have a profound impact on the relations between Iran and the United States, as well as the security situation in the region.
