Iran Press/ Iran news: The 11th Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival officially started on Saturday, July 18, in Milad Tower, Tehran.
Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, representatives of the Islamic Council, members of the cultural, social, and industrial factions, the clothing industry, and the country's clothing fashion stylists, and people from all walks of life were present at the event.
In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Iran's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili stated: The 11th Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival has exhibited the works of Iranian artists, stylists, and designers throughout history from the past to the present.
Esmaili pointed out the objectives of the exhibition and said: The purpose of holding the exhibition is to expose the authentic Iranian arts in the clothing, and the textile industry which is perhaps less noticed.

Moreover, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press, the secretary of the General Culture Council of the country and the organizer of the 11th Fajr International Fashion and Clothing Festival, Majid Emami said: the aim to hold the exhibition is to present the unique capabilities of designers of fabrics, clothes, bags, shoes, and social wear.
He also said: During the event, more than 76 workshops are scheduled to be held with the presence of domestic and foreign experts in textile and clothing.
Emami noted: The best fashion designers and producers will be awarded Golden Peacock.
The festival runs until July 15 in Milad Tower.
