Iran Press/ Europe: Referring to the historical trade ties between Gilan and Astrakhan provinces, Hadi Tizhoush Taban stressed that Rasht- Astrakhan direct flight is a crucial infrastructure to ease and accelerate the commercial activities of traders and manufacturers in the market of both provinces.
In this meeting, the head of the Gilan Chamber of Commerce stated that the business delegation of Gilan took the first flight from Rasht to Astrakhan on Sunday evening while focusing on the expanding commercial relations between Iran and Russia, especially in recent years, and the development-oriented view of the Russian side, including the government officials of Astrakhan province.
Tizhoush Taban reiterated that there is a good opportunity for Iran and Russia to expand bilateral trade ties as the political relations between the two sides are at the highest level.
The deputy of the Russian government's delegation and the head of the chamber of commerce of Astrakhan province also discussed the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the meeting of Iranian businessmen.
