Iran Press/Iran news: During a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Tehran, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said: "The change of power in the United States will have no effect on the approach and decisions of Iran and Russia in the comprehensive development of bilateral relations."
Ghalibaf added: "Russian President Vladimir Putin's response to the letter of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei indicated that the leaders of the two countries agree on the development of their relations."
Ghalibaf also said: "We must maintain the framework of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), but the United States must also fulfill its obligations in this agreement, then Iran will also verify the complete lifting of sanctions."
Ghalibaf also referred to the Zionist regime's sabotage of the Natanz nuclear facility and stressed that this should be condemned by all countries, especially the P4+1. "It should have a clear position on this issue, but Iran reserves the right to respond to these events," he said.
