Tehran (IP) - The chief commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) called the security of Pakistan as Iran's own security.

Iran PressIran News: Major General, Hossain Salami, the IRGC's top commander, made these statements in a meeting with Pakistan's Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, on Sunday here in Tehran 

Major General Hossein Salami said the security challenges for Iran and Pakistan in their borders are the continuation of the dangerous policies of the dominant system to create bloody divisions between Muslims.

Major General Salami expressed the IRGC's readiness to change the borders of the two countries from a security situation to an economic border with the participation and cooperation of the Pakistan Army.

As one of Iran's neighboring countries, Pakistan has the longest common border with Iran after Iraq, with more than 900 kilometers of land border.

Pakistan's Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, also said Pakistan is ready to strengthen cooperation to solve insecurity and the presence of terrorists in the borders and is determined to find the most suitable solutions for passing the current situation and making progress in other fields.

General Asim Munir, who traveled to Tehran on Saturday at the head of a high-ranking military delegation, met with the Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, and Iran's Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi.
