Tehran (IP) - Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki voiced Tehran's readiness to help neighboring countries to contain and manage the coronavirus pandemic in talks with the Health Ministers of Qatar, Yemen, the UAE, Kuwait, and Oman.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki and Health Ministers of five neighboring Arab countries held a teleconference on Wednesday to discuss various issues and present reports on the latest updates on the COVID-19 in those countries.

"Valuable honors of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of disease management were announced to these countries, and Qatar was especially thanked for its cooperation in providing equipment such as masks," Namaki said. 

In talks with the Health Ministers of Qatar, Yemen, the UAE, Kuwait, and Oman, the Iranian health minister expressed the country’s readiness to share its experiences in the fight against the novel coronavirus, extensive research, and scientific projects, and stressed Iran's interest in expanding trade relations with those countries.
