Iran Press/ Middle East: During a meeting among Iran's trade delegation and Qatari businessmen on Tuesday, Alireza Peyman Pak said Iran was ready to expand cooperation with Qatar, particularly in extraterritorial cultivation, Nano-Technology, Biotechnology, and manufacturing medical equipment.
A marketing delegation from Iran, led by Alireza Peyman Pak left Iran of Qatar to expand economic and trade ties between the two countries, simultaneously with the eighth meeting of the Iran-Qatar Joint Cooperation Commission.
He pointed to Iran-Qatar's efforts to develop a financial mechanism and said the Iranian fund for guaranteeing exports would issue insurance for the Qatari businessmen, which could be replaced with Bank guarantee.
According to Peyman Pak, small ships between the two countries have entered and new marine lines have been developed to further facilitated marine transportation.
The volume of the Iran-Qatar trade reached about $150 million last year, out of which $140 million was for export and $10 million was for imports.
