Doha (IP) - Mohammad Reza Farzin, Governor General of the Central Bank of Iran(CBI), in a meeting with Mohammad bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister of Qatar, emphasized the need to increase monetary, banking, and financial cooperation between the two countries.

Iran PressWest Asia: The Governor of CBI who visited Qatar, announced in this meeting that with the development of monetary and banking relations between Tehran and Doha, the volume of trade between the two countries will grow significantly.

In the meeting, the Prime Minister of Qatar also emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of the agreements between the two countries in the economic field.

In line with the 13th administration regional diplomacy, as well as in order to strengthen and develop monetary and banking cooperation and use common economic capacities with neighbors, the Governor of the Central Bank visited Doha, the capital of Qatar, on Wednesday.
