Doha (IP) – Iranian Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, emphasized the expansion of relations between Tehran and Doha in various fields.

Iran PressMiddle East: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is in Doha, had two rounds of talks with his Qatari counterpart Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani on Tuesday after meeting with the Emir of Qatar.

Referring to the importance of Iran-Qatar relations based on bilateral and regional cooperation, the Iranian Foreign Minister stressed the need to expand cooperation, especially in trade, economy and investment.

Amir-Abdollahian referred to Iran's capabilities in trade and investment and called for coordination in the exchange of high-level delegations between two sides for boosting ties.

The Qatari Foreign Minister also expressed Qatar's interest in expanding cooperation, especially in economic activities.

Cooperation in regional and international issues, especially the developments in Afghanistan and Yemen, were among the other topics discussed in these meetings.
