Iran Press/ Europe: The Minister of Labour and President of the 111th session of the International Labour Conference H E Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri met Iran’s Minister of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare Solat Mortazavi.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Iran, especially in the areas of the labour sector.
In this meeting, Iran’s Minister of Cooperatives, Labour, and Social Welfare said: "Improving relations with Qatar is strategic for the Islamic Republic of Iran."
He stated: "The two countries have taken valuable measures in exchange of experiences and cooperation in international forums, which can be developed at the regional level too."
"Ali bin Samikh Al Marri", Minister of Labor of Qatar, also emphasized the importance of expanding relations with Iran and said: "We will not forget Iran's support during the embargo on Qatar."
He added: "During the trip to Tehran, we will provide an opportunity to improve the level of cooperation not only in the field of labor and employment, but also in other areas." 219
