Iran Press/ Africa: Mehdi Safari, Iranian Deputy Minister for Economic Affairs, who led a delegation to Uganda, discussed how to expand cooperation with the country's Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of Agriculture on Thursday.
Holding the Joint Cooperation Commission, increasing the volume of trade exchanges, investing in coffee, livestock, small industries, and agricultural products, and establishing a permanent fairground for presenting Iranian products in Uganda were among the issues discussed.
The two sides also stressed the implementation of the agreements and the exchange of political and economic delegations to strengthen bilateral ties.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy met with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni and Prime Minister Robinah Nabanja on Wednesday.
